I have proudly called Virginia home for the past 19 years and have lived and practiced law in Martinsville for the last six. As a homeowner and engaged member of this community, I understand the issues that matter most to our families, neighborhoods, and local institutions. My commitment to public service and justice is rooted in real courtroom experience and a deep respect for the law.
Throughout my legal career, I have served our community from every angle of the criminal justice system. I’ve worked as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney, prosecuted cases on behalf of the state, and defended the rights of individuals as an Assistant Public Defender and private criminal defense attorney. I’ve also represented vulnerable children and families as an agency attorney for the Patrick County Department of Social Services and as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem. These experiences have given me a well-rounded perspective, one that values fairness, accountability, and the safety of our community. I’m running for Commonwealth’s Attorney because experience matters—and I’m ready to serve Martinsville with integrity and results that stand up in court.
